Gabrielle Emmons

Gabrielle Emmons is an adjunct professor of history at Bethany Lutheran College. She holds a BA in both History and English literature from Bethany Lutheran College and a MA in History from the University of Northern Iowa. Prior to becoming a college professor, she taught high school history and literature at a small Lutheran school in Iowa as well as Latin and 7th and 8th grade history. She enjoys studying various historical eras, but her favorite time period is World War II. When she is not teaching, you can find her curled up with a good book and cup of tea. Her interests lay in military history primarily naval history, Pearl Harbor, the American Revolution, Civil War, and Ancient Egypt. She is currently working on writing a novel titled Where Heroes Sleep.
