Call for Ruminations

Ruminations is a blog dedicated to our mission of furthering accessibility to the Great Conversation. We are actively seeking less formal, less than academic, short-form, interesting ruminations that would have a harder time fitting into a scholarly article.  Submission Requirements: - Length: 500-1500 words - References & Citations: Authors are welcome to use a creative format, such as (but not limited to) embedded hyperlinks for direct quotes - anything else is at the author's discretion. We encourage an informal reading list or "To Learn More" section, rather than a formal "References" section. - Align with the goals and vision of the journal. - Interesting, clear, accessible. - No glaring flaws in logic or argumentation. Blog posts will undergo a quick editorial review to ensure compliance with these guidelines - if it meets them, then we intend to publish it. We have drawn some inspiration here from The Lyceum Institute, and we hope to foster an open and fruitful dialogue. So, rather than a substantive content review, reviews will be in the form of responses that will also be posted to Ruminations.
